Jonathan Francis | Best venue in Cardiff. It would be a big shame to lose it.

Annika Henderson | I think it's an outrage that the venue is under threat of closure!

SARAH THOMAS | I am writing in support of The Point given that it is under threat of closure. I believe that it is an excellent event bring the LGB community closer together. I travel from Swansea to attend this event and enjoy the live music very much. It has an fantastic atmosphere and I hope that negotiations can be reached to keep this running in the future.

Dave Morgan | As a freelance Live sound engineer given work due to the existance of the point I would strongly oppose it's closure.
Michael Gilby | Cardiff's most consistently good music venue and the only decent place to go out in the Bay. Don't spoil it.
Lloyd Urquhart | The Point is a 'one of a kind' place that comes along every once in a while! It's really independent and different! It's what makes Cardiff special as a great place for watching live music and a rare treat for a club! It’s perfectly situated in the Bay! A true gem!
Adam Walton | The Point has been a great supporter of interesting and inspirational music from Wales. As BBC Radio Wales' new music presenter I know only too well how few decent music venues there are in Wales. The Point is one of the few. It would be a travesty to close it.

Anonymous | The point is an institution and should remain .Anyone who thinks otherwise should be in an institution or move elsewhere.
Ben Smith | Having lost the coal exchange. to loose the Point too would be a great loss to cardiff. There is no other music venue for live bands that comes close to be as good as the point in cardiff.
Heather Gourley |
Dean Palmer | The Point is a tremendous asset to Cardiff bay, and has hosted some of the finest bands Wales has to offer, it would be a criminal shame if the venue were to cease to be.
Sophie | this is one of the nicest venues in the country, it would be a terrible shame if it goes.
Andrew Regan | Can't believe people move in next to a live music venue then complain about noise. What's welsh for carrots?
Stevie Gould | I'm sorry but the council must have more to worry about than The Point's noise level and as the Bay is a particular tourist and cultural hot spot, the neighbours should be aware of that before they move there. The Point is a positive part of the music scene in Cardiff and is different than the venues in the city centre for live music with its variety. Save the Point!
Jamie Bloomfield | get a life
Lucy Baker | KEEP IT!
Anonymous | Cardiff's best venue...

Samuel Smith | Don't close a top music venue. The Point brings a lot of good music to Cardiff.
David Richardson | Only been there once (July 2006 to see Isis) but it's a great venue, lots of character, good atmosphere and good sound. Worth keeping!
