| 105 | Jacob Lewis | They shouldnt build all these residential areas in entertainment areas, if you buy one, deal with it |
| 106 | Jonathan Pritchard | The Point is THE best live music venue in Cardiff. It was previously the Coal Exchange but thanks to the gentrification of the bay that is no more. Please do not close this venue - who are these NEW neighbours? Surely if you build residential properties close to a music venue it should be a condition of the planning approval that the residential development is correctly soundproofed. |
| 107 | Tomos Jones | The Point is a unique venue, one of Cardiff's cultural high points.
Its closure would be a terrible blow to the city. |

| 111 | BETH GARDNER | LOVE THE POINT ITS THE BEST LIVE MUSIC VENUE IN CARDIFF |

| 113 | Peter Walker | The Point is a legendary famous rock venue that has been there long before the new apartments were built. I go there regularly and whenever there is a gig on, you cannot hear much/if anything at all from the outside. And people arriving/leaving do so in a well behaved, chilled out manner. Any attempt to close this venue is riddiculous. |

| 115 | Lewie | This is bonkers. It's understandable that C.C.C. welcome new places of residents, into our city; but at what cost? The Point is one of the cities cultural icons, attracting worldwide performers, on a daily basis. Not everyone that comes through the 'BAY AREA?' has the scope of playing, over the road - and not everyone in Cardiff can afford to go there, either. I hope you take notice, of the people who already live here, and who cite, places such as the Point, as reasons we like to live here. It was there long before Dr Who!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| 125 | David Barnett | Live music venues such as The Point are a vital source of entertainment for responsible young people to meet and enjoy each other's company and listen to good music performed by local groups. This venue is an important part of the Cardiff scene and must be allowed to continue the great work it does for the city. |

| 127 | Matt Jarrett | This is just crazy. How can someone move in next door to a venue and then complain about it? Can The Point lodge complaints about it's new neighbours? |

| 133 | Simon Nee | This venue has help bring many a good time to all those that have attended events there. Closing this down is not the solution and will cause hardship to music lovers of Wales, please find a compromise! |
| 134 | Joe Siddons | You cannot close this venue down, it is a travesty, who gives a fuck about some yuppie bastards complaining about the noise.
It is a beautiful venue, it would be a disgrace if this closure goes ahead. |
| 135 | Peter Dyer | The Point is, in my opinion, the best gig venue in Cardiff.
Since the closure of the Coal Exchange, The Point is the only decent venue (for both decor and acoustics) of its size that can attract the acts it does.
It is a fantastic place to watch music in, and to close it would be another nail in the coffin for the Cardiff music scene, at a time when then are fewer and fewer decent venues. |

| 140 | Glynn Pegler, Culture Group | The Point is one of the most important live music venues in Wales. It bridges the gap between small and large venues in Cardiff and contributes a significant amount to the local economy and surrounding area, attracting both a wealth of talent and consumers alike.
It would be extremely detrimental to the Welsh music industry if this venue was to close and we wholly oppose any ideas of restricting operations there further. |
| 141 | mike newman | I live on the same street as The Point so I'm a neighbour and I DON'T think it should be shut down. It's a brilliant venue and there aren't enough of them in Cardiff, it needs to be saved. |

| 147 | gareth middleton | one of the best, if not THE best ,live music venues in south wales. there has to be a more sensible way forward than closure. although with a council prepared to shut down the coal exchange what hope is there? |
| 148 | Jayne Mortimer | Where else do you find James Marsters and Gareth David Lloyd performing in such a fantastic venue...Keep it open. |
| 149 | Rosemary Aphrattos | The Point is beautiful venue for music - the best in Cardiff. |
