| 55 | Anonymous | Cardiff badly needs a venue like The Point. If it were to close, the live music scene here would suffer badly - and culturally, what is supposed to be a beacon in growing european capitals would have one less place where music and youth culture can survive.
Keep the point alive! |

| 60 | Anonymous | to lose The Point would be a great loss to Cardiff |
| 61 | Jane Oriel | We've all lived in harmony thus far so what's going on?
The Point has the best sound system in Cardiff and caters for a wide range of different music and event tastes. As a valuable contributor to Cardiff's cultural life, this problem must be solved by means other than its closure. |
| 62 | Gareth Lloyd Roberts | I used to reside in the area, living on Mount Stuart Square.
I can honestly say that I never found that events held at The Point were detrimental to my quality of life.
This is urban Cardiff; The Point is a dying breed of venue that gives life to the City's soul. |

| 65 | Anonymous | Within Cardiff, the Point is unique, and if we lost it there wouldn't be an alternative, Cardiff would suffer a major blow to its live music scene. We'd be stuck with St Davids Hall with its sterile, leaden atmosphere and bland, corporate gig list. I'll come down and soundproof the Point myself if that's what it takes! |

| 74 | Anonymous | this will be a major blow to any aspirations Cardiff has being a decent capital city.
it will damage the cultural industries in Wales and damage tourism in Cardiff. |

| 76 | Anonymous | Best live music venue in Cardiff. A wonderful resource. |
| 77 | Jess Jones | The Point is an amazing venue. It's full of character and a real asset to Cardiff. It would be a great shame if it was forced to close. |
| 78 | Jonathan | A unqiue an genuinely nice venue - a rareity in Cardiff. This venue is older than many of the developments in the area and does not give them the right to dictate the activites of this great venue. |
| 79 | Gareth Thomas | don't close the point! you knew it was there, it has been for some time, wankers. |

| 84 | Simon Keefe | Closing down The Point would be disastrous for Cardiff, and would show such a lack of foresight for the city that I'd lose a significant amount of confidence that this council is adequately able to do its job. Ridiculous decision. |
| 85 | Matt Nicholls | The Point is a great venue, unique in Cardiff and doing brilliant events broadening Cardiff's alternative scene. It would seem a very short term thing to close such a great venue |

| 87 | Matthew Hitt | keep the point alive ! |
| 88 | Chantal Patton | One of the best live music venues in Cardiff. I was shocked when I heard it might close - it would be a huge loss. |
| 89 | Sam Baxter | I live in the building opposite the point and have never had any problems with noise, we cant hear a thing even when we open our windows. when i have walked past the point when an event is going on, it is never overly noisy and the events never go on particularly late. I cant understand what the problem is! |

| 93 | Max Hicks | Cardiff has a great live music scene, it's one of the cities under-rated features. The venues which support the scene ought to be supported, not shut down. There must be a more reasonable solution. |
| 94 | Joe Howden | Like Spillers records, The Point is a really important landmark on Cardiff's musical landscape. It has breathed fresh air into the live music scene and has brought a whole host of internationally recognised bands to wales. It bridges the gap between massive venues like the CIA and the smaller 'toilet' venues like Clwb Ifor Bach providing an important stepping stone for bands on the rise (Los Campesinos) and an exclusive intimate space for already established acts (Manic Street Preachers). To close it would be a terrible shame and a big mistake. It's a well loved and very important venue for this city. |
| 95 | Kirsty E | The Point is a very popular venue which i have been to on numerous occassions. It offers an alternative scene for those of us that dont enjoy clubbing in the 'dance' clubs in cardiff and provides somewhere for local and well known bands to promote themselves. Not everyone likes what Cardiffs night life has to offer with clubs such as liquid, edwards, etc. This gives us somewhere to go and enjoy ourselves. Alot of people also travel a long way to see events here.
Keep the point alive! |

| 97 | Dave Harris | Please do not take any action to close the Point. the venue offers fantastic opportunities for art and culture in a city that offers limited resources for such. To loose a venue like the Point would be a loss to the community. The Point has been there for a considerable period of time and those that use the venue should not have to be disappointed by it being closed due to the influx of housing that has come following. |

| 100 | Ellie Harwood | With the loss of the Coal Exchange The Point is one of the few decent size venues for established touring bands to play in Cardiff. I've seen some of the best gigs of my life in there. They should stop building flats next to music venues! If the Council eradicate live music from the Bay it'll be Womanby Street next! |
