| 6102 | James Brinning | There are nowhere near enough small music venues in Cardiff or Sounth Wales.
Lets not let another great one go? |
| 6103 | jane williams | We need unique music venues like this - the noise problem can be managed if given a chance.
everywhere interesting in Cardiff is being snuffed out and the city is becoming very boring and conservative. |
Anonymous | this is just depressing
Kate Smith | This should be reopened
Carol McKinlay |
Adrian Hughes | We cant afford to lose this venue - keep it open!!!
Jeni Morgan |

Dominique Lyons
Vivian Thomas | Save this valuable venue, the people who moved in should have realised they had one of cardiff land marks situated in there locality....they should have excepted and embraced THE POINT....
Charlotte Perry | the point was established as a live music venue well before any residents took up living accomodation in order to complain about it! I think that Cardiff council should seriously look at its planning policies and ensure that the city is kept vibrant sp that people actually want to come and live in all these new flats that are seemingly sonstantly being built.

Bjorn Ballard |
Bill King | Even if it means calling it the 02 saveit.
Kay Howells | The Point is a wonderful music venue and it is vital to keep mid size venues open to promote live music and give bands the opportunity to play. The Point was there before the flats which objected to the noise. Maybe its the flats that need soundproofing NOT the Point.
Gina Hurley
Gareth Thomas | The club was there first. Bad planning setting the flats there in the first place. Cardiff Council should try harder to sort out matters.
Paul Dorsett | It will be a great shame if The Point does not re-open, as it was a wonderful place for music and the arts in South Wales
Kerry Murton |
mark Anderson |
Simon Donovan | Must not close !! ThePoint is one of a kind !!

kirsty Williams

Anonymous | Wales needs these venues to give new bands a chance as so many bands are leaving Cardiff off their tour agenda
Josh |
Caroline Cook | Great venue -
Joanne Coates |
Dave S | The Point is amazing...it has to be re-opened!
neil bobbett |
| 6141 | Mark Smith | I was only a convert to The Point shortly before its demise. We had purchased tickets for other gigs but obvioulsy they were cancelled. I am devistated as the place was moody and full of character. Idea for bands and Hells Bells were superb.
Bring it back soon with Hells Bells, Larry Miller, Led Zep etc |
David Marshall | This was an outstanding venue.
Helen Williams |
edwin Green |
Marnie Pritchard
joe bonney | Miss that place
Val Weedon MBE | As a former anti noise campaigner I support your efforts to face the challenge of preventing disturbance to residents. With my music promoter hat on I also support the need for more live music venues!
sharon evans | For a city, the live music venues available in Cardiff are few and far between. We need The Point to keep Cardiff on the map and to enable the young/new talent that Wales produces a venue to entertain their fans.
