| 5805 | Gareth Rees | "noise emitting from the venue and disturbing some of our new neighbours"
They should have thought about that *before* they moved in. |
| 5806 | Gareth Parsons | I find it disgraceful that a few can try and spoil the enjoyment of many as usual good luck in your quest to keep this great venue open. |

| 5809 | Claire HIll | It would be a disgrace if this venue closed. It is a venue to be proud of in a homogonised city which seems more interested in bringing in more shops and city flats - which Londoners buy to get themselves on the property ladder and never set foot in

| 5811 | Luke Oliver | Don't move next to a music venue and then complain about the noise. |
| 5812 | Anonymous | The Point is a unique venue with fantastic acts and facilities. |
| 5813 | k dimond | this is an absolute unique venue and much needed in cardiff as there are so few music venues anyway. Having all the new entertainment facilities in the bay area does not appeal to all,we need something real like the point ,or prehaps someone will have plans to change it into more apartments like the coal exchange!! tELL THE MOANING RESIDENTS TO MOVE as we would if something in our area was annoying us "KEEP MUSIC LIVE" |

| 5816 | Steve Gornall | If a music venue half bordered by water cannot survive, how can any live venue survive?! Support youth venues for a change. |
| 5817 | Tony Baird | The Point is a legendary venue and has been there much longer than the new neighbours.
Long may it reign |

| 5820 | Becks Pearce | The point is wonderful! I go there to see Live bands and its amazing! KEEP IT ALIVE!! |
| 5821 | Nicky Zelle | I had a wonderfull time at the point when James Marsters played there in july and november 2007. |

| 5823 | Anonymous | The Point is a great venue for rock gigs. There's nowhere like it in Cardiff. |
| 5824 | Ben Joiner | This is an important mid size venue for music. It would be to Cardiff's shame if we let it close. |
| 5825 | Gethin Roberts | The Point is a brilliant live music venue, not only in Cardiff, but in Britain. It puts Cardiff on the Music Venue Map.
Also, the Point was here long before the NEW neighbours moved in. |
| 5826 | Richard Parker | |
| 5827 | Ben Pettitt-Wade | The only decent independant music venue in Cardiff - please don't close it! |
| 5828 | Peter Gaskell | The Point is the only venue left in Cardiff where I know I will like the concerts on offer. Anyone buying a property in the neighbourhood should be taking the popularity of the venue into account i.e don't move there if you don't like the disturbance. What time do such people go to bed anyway? All the concerts I've attended are over well before midnight. |
| 5829 | Peter Rosser | The Point is a great music venue. What a shame if it is closed. I've seen Joe Bonamassa and Robben Ford there recently. Such a good atmosphere.
Best of luck, Peter |

| 5834 | mark shepperd | I was born and bred in the bay. What right do newbies have in complaining about the point. The point is an institution and would be sadly missed. The point plays a massive part in the welsh music scene for up and coming and established bands. A very angry resident. |
| 5835 | J Philip Hickman | It is important for Cardiff to have a range of music venues and The Point offers something unique in this regard.
Surely people coming into the area would have investigated its facilities and ambience. Knowing there was a latenight music venue they should have decided to stay away rather than expect to change it at a later date.
Why is the Council bringing the court action instead of the complainants? The Council was quite happy with The Point until this complaint and evidently, so are other neighbours. |
| 5836 | Ashley Flynn | The Point is an awesome venue!! We must make sure this isnt allowed to happen! |
| 5837 | Nicola | Keep it open! |
| 5838 | Anonymous | Save the point!!! |
| 5839 | gary phillips | Please keep the point open, without this venue south walians - not only cardiffians - will not have the opportunity to see so many acts that would struggle to find a similar venue in the area. |
| 5840 | Nigel Evans | There is simply NO JUSTIFICATION for complaint if you move to an area with an established venue like this. The "new residents" need to consider what the bay is to the city and why they moved there and stop this Bah Humbuggery! |
| 5841 | Stephen Porter | What an absolutely fantastic venue. The new neighbours should consider who was there first |
| 5842 | Andrew Davies | It would be a loss to Cardiff and the Bay if the Point is to close! |
| 5843 | Rachel Smith | It can't close. It's The POINT. |
