Name: Joe Clark on May 7, 2009Comments: am deeply concerned about your show, "The Othersiders". You are being irresponsible in allowing kids to ghosthunt on television. We, and other paranormal groups, often deal with kids who have suffered traumatic events after a ghost hunt went wrong. We are called in to help them. What will happen when one of your kids on the show gets affected by a ghost or spirit and suffers irreparable harm Or what will happen when a child viewer gets affected in the same way You, as the network carrying this program will be, and should be, held responsible. It is not about ratings. It is about kids being placed into danger and other kids imitating them and getting hurt. Every leading paranormal expert in the field agrees that ghost hunting is NOT for kids. Therefore, We have joined a nationwild effort for the boycott of your show. And hopefully your show will be canceled before some innocent child is harmed. Sincerely, Joe Clark, Co-Founder Commonwealth ParanormalFlag

I also know all too well the emotional and mental dangers of investigating the paranormal.Flag

Name: Wiisper on May 7, 2009Comments: My name is wiisper,, I am spirit guide a medium a reader and a white witch that can tell you that kids at an early age believe what they hear and what they see.. And when it comes to spirits in cartoons they become real to them.. Even they are real spirits or ghosts.. And to believe this at an early age they will become afraid of what isn’t there and terrified of what is.. I don’t see any reason why a change in your schedule of shows cant be made or take this show off and put on more of a popular show.. With respect wiisperFlag

Name: Hilda Vermillion on Aug 7, 2009Comments: I simply want to tell you that I think your new series The Othersiders is completely inappropriate for a channel which is suppose to be child friendly. My son and his friends are deeply disturbed by the show and most of the parents I know are outraged. I never thought I would have to use a parental block to block Cartoon Network. When you remove this show, my son will be allowed to watch your channel again. I appreciate your time in hearing my concern.Flag

Name: Jim Crow on Aug 10, 2009Comments: I agree on only two points you have made. This show should be removed and this show should not be shown to kids (or anyone with the mentality of a kid). Cartoon Network knows that no one will get hurt by a ghost because there are none. Truthfully the kids are in danger from the dilapidated places they are "hunting". What is even worse is that they are promoting the idea that any unexplained circumstances can be slapped with a paranormal sticker. This directly opposes critical thinking and drastically impedes the intellectual progress of its impressionable viewers. It is for these reasons I feel Cartoon Network should remove, or give a warning of ridiculousness for The Othersiders.Flag
