We the people and for the people of the United States of America, respectfully request a thorough investigation under the provisions of the 14th Amendments, "Equal Protection Clause" which covers Equality before the law. The provision "Equality before the law" simply stated means that individuals shall be subject to the same laws, no individual or groups shall have special legal privileges.

 Since 1867 the accepted state motto for Nebraska has been "Equality before the law." Yet, thanks to Senator Ben Nelson, his state has just won the Nebraskan Sweepstakes. A last minute "sweet deal" negotiation which secured Senator Nelson's vote in the Reid Senate Health Care Bill. The language Senator Nelson negotiated in this monstrous 2,100 plus page Senate Health Care Bill would require the federal government to pay for the Medicaid expansion program in his state indefinitely. Thus, placing the burden of millions upon millions of dollars on all the other 49 states forever!
