Name: Jeff Nichols on Mar 21, 2009Comments: We have been enjoying Bristol and the surrounding area for many years, and have been excited by the addition of the Mill Ice Cream store due not only to the amenities offered, but also for making the downtown area of Bristol a destination for families. This business has been a great addition and anything the town can do to help continue this tradition of keeping family owned and operated businesses in the area should be among its highest priorities. It would be sad to see another business close up shop due to nothing on their own part, but only due to their proximity to a condemned building.Flag

Name: Melissa Furbish on Mar 21, 2009Comments: We love the Mill and to let it go would be like letting go of the heart of the community. They represent family, music, community , and an example of what all small family-owned businesses should be. They bring a comfort and acceptance that welcomes everyone that we would like to keep.Flag

Name: Bernard White on Mar 21, 2009Comments: I spend all my summers in Bristol and sometimes winters too. This would be a big loss. It is so important that The mill survive and that the town does what’s right immediately so these people are not driven out of business.Flag

Name: Andrea White on Mar 21, 2009Comments: I can’t believe the town has not remedied this situation already. It is more than a month that the Mill is threatened. We have something great in family music and entertainment here and it should be protected . I count The Mill as a real quality of life plus in Bristol.Flag

Name: Todd M. Smith on Mar 22, 2009Comments: For the last 2 years The Mill has been the anchor of the Bristol Square. The owners have made a real effort to support the idea of community and have been helping area non-profits. It is only right that the town of Bristol now help them in their time of need. The newfound region, and particularly Bristol, needs to encourage and nuture its local businesses as they are vital to what makes the lakes region a destination.Flag

Name: Tully Munro on Mar 22, 2009Comments: As I live in Canada I do not have the privilege of visiting Bristol. But I have tasted the fudge from the Mill and it is amazing! The dedication and hard work that goes into that place by the owners and employees is unbelievable. Because of the neglect of the town for having an unsafe building next door, the onus should be on the town of Bristol to aid in the expenses. Otherwise, good people will lose their jobs and inaction will hurt the town, if not immediately than in the future.Flag

Name: Kerri Munro on Mar 22, 2009Comments: Whenever we come to Bristol ... The Mill is where we go. We love the family and the business. They are able to find wonderful musicians from all over the country to play at The Mill and are the only place in town that has the culture and fun environment ... not to mention the best ice cream and fudge I have ever tasted. DO NOT loose this major community fun spot in Bristol. You will be sorry you did. K.M.Flag
