Name: Alexander Charner on May 21, 2008Comments: I have loyally listened to Rachel Maddow since the day her first Air America show, Unfiltered, hit the national airwaves. Since then, I have been impressed with her grasp of the issues, her sense of humor and her fundamental decency. Rachel Maddow brings skills and talent to the task, that would mirror the success of MSNBC's finest programming.Flag

Name: Joshua Epstein on May 21, 2008Comments: What part of this these demos do you not understand As TVNewser said: "With Rachel Maddow filling in on Countdown and E.D. Hill filling in on The O'Reilly Factor, MSNBC enjoyed a big A25-54 demo win on Friday night (416,000-309,000 viewers). MSNBC also finished first in the demo at 7 and 9pmET, with CNN placing second in both those hours. FNC won in total viewers." So, while E.D. Hill is no O'Reilly, she is MUCH more of a present at FOX than Rachel is at MSNBC, though thankfully, that has been changing recently. Rachel has better ratings than Joe Scarborough, Chris Matthews & David Gregory. Period. Can't imagine why that is. Hmmm.Flag
