Name: Susan Holmes on May 28, 2011Comments: My husband and I had our very first date at the Engineer six years ago. We have since married and continue to frequent the Engineer almost every week. Whether it be for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food & wine is fantastic and the service always brilliant. We would be extremely disappointed to lose out favourite local. We are very supportive of the 'chain free' Primrose hill and most definitely would not support a High street operation. Please, please do not change the Engineer.Flag

Name: Paul Grist FRSA on May 28, 2011Comments: This pub is an excellent independently run gastro pub and must remain so; no one wants The Engineer to become yet another themed pub operated by a large chain - these establishments are invariably ghastly and inevitably pander to exactly the same group of people as do a dozen other similar establishments already. Variety and something special and different is what is needed and this pub is it -it is also especially well suited to this area - please keep it that way - no more big chains please!Flag

Name: Mike Smith on May 28, 2011Comments: Please Mitchells and Butlers.... do not force branded, production-line values to this delightful corner of Primrose Hill. The Engineer, Shikasuki Vintage and Primrose Bakery; 3 quintessential Primrose Hill experiences within 20 meters of each other. Unique, non-standard, excellent... at risk?Flag

Thought it was a hidden gem and loved to call in there since that day on visits to London, whether with work or a social thing. As a West Midlander, I feel ashamed that it's M&B who intend to take occupation. Good luck with the fight!Flag
