Mandy Rothwell-Billingsgolden retrievera large safely enclosed area for dogs to have a proper walk/run etc.03
Ruth FarrellLabrador & StaffieDog roaming areas with adequate poop bins - areas where dog walkers can be directed away from family areas if possible and not sharing walks with mountain bikers either!03
Jane WellmanWestie, Border TerrierMore poo bins - separate run areas for dogs. Although in North Devon we have very good walking areas at present02
Sarahjane MorganGerman ShepherdsPlenty of open area where you can play ball games with your dog and also lots of poop bins to encourage owners to clean up after their dogs. Safely fenced and secure gates to avoid the dogs from escaping in error.I have three fabulous shepherds and always clean up after them but in the past I have been threatened with physical violence when exercising my dogs in safe areas. Please create a dog safe park where they can run freely but under the supervision of the dog owners.01

Dannielle CarruthersItalian Spinone, Greyhound, Bearded Collie, Border x Bearded Collie, Parson Russell Terrierfences, gates, plenty of bins for the waste - both litter and poo.01
AnonymousNONEI am not a dog walker, so am only signing this for the benefit of dog owners and walkers nationally. But I imagine, bins for dog related waste is a must), perhaps some seats, some trees, bushes for the dogs to have a good sniff round. How would you monitor membership - ie how do you stop those who haven't paid from using a dog park?03
Kris BantonGolden RetrieverBig dog vs. small dog areas. Volunteer poop patrol system. Agility equipment for dogs to play on. Doggie paddling pool.Should be a grassy area, not just a fenced off cement surface. Aggressive dogs mustn't be allowed in, as this would defeat whole purpose of somewhere safe and social for other dogs.02
Sue JohnstonVisits by Welsh Springer SpanielAdequate 'dog loos' Safe fenced in so dogs can't escape by accident Easily accessible to all03

Angela needhammixedtrees, hedges, drinking puddles, benches, hiding placesactually Hoole playing fields are quite good so Im not as desperate as some, but we have all been sorry to see the lead only rule being enforced now in Alexandra park since our dog had been doing a great service teaching children not to be afraid of dogs but to show proper respect. Its becaue we already can let her run free all over the playing field that I wouldn't be willing to pay to use a designated dog park.02
Ian BlezardMongrelsDog waste bins, agility equipment, secure gates01
AnonymousBeagleFully enclosed area where he can run off the lead03
Anonymouswelsh terrierFully enclosed areawe desperately need an enclosed area to train our dog with the recall. A dog park is an excellent idea and we would probably use it on a daily basis01

shirley woodsjack russell terrierA well fenced play area with some agility items and perhaps large tunnels.I was in california 2 years ago visiting friends. My friends own 5 dogs and across the road from there house was a large park with a dog park. It was fantastic and id never seen anything like it, every morning they took all 5 dogs out to the dog park where they were able to run free with other dogs, use up loads of energy and 30mins later were happy to come home and laze in the house while there owners went to work. It really was excellent01
Lisa RobertsMixedA safe welll lit area to walk my dog as i am female and usually walk my dog alone. I usually use caldy valley but this had been impossible with the early dark nights.03
Liz GreenbeagleLarge enough area, double gate feature (extra safety for escaping dogs), seating, dog drinking water, poo bins.Good luck in your quest, If I can be of any assistance please let me know. I visited a park in Widnes recently, it was ideal for my beagle as they can be untrustworthy off the lead (don't always come back!).01

Elizabeth KinseyGreyhound"doggy bags" provided to encourage owners to clean up after their pet - water source available - rules" of the park posted identifying responsble pet usageRecently relocated to Chester and previously enjoyed the availability of dog parks01
Yvonne ByrneDobermanman made pond where my dog can have a paddle, some agility objects such as ramps, bridges, tunnels, tractor tyres to run through, just play things that they can enjoy running through and on with other dogs.Great idea, would love to start one myself in North Notts, as a dog owner i would love and would be prepared to pay to take my dog to a secure park where i can socialise my dog with others and play with her informally. I find dog training classes focussing on on lead training too much and there is no emphasis on fun! Dogs yearn to run free, chase one another and I wish you all the best and hope you suceed because dog parks would be greatly appreciated by a lot of dog owners and i cant understand why this country doenst have any already when they are quite common in America.01
