The goal of this petition is to lower registration fees or get rid of them all together. The registration fees for 2011 have tripled from the previous year. Who determines this price, and why? I don't know, but I do know that every year the fees go up and become more outrages. Help me stop these ridiculous fees. We shouldn't have to pay to register our vehicles, so the DMV can place our license plate in a data base. It's bad enough we have to pay for gas, smog, and maintenance fees. Do you want your elderly family members, that can barely make ends meet, paying triple to register a vehicle they've owned for sometime. I don't think that's fair, do you? please sign my petition, let's teach the DMV that we're not gonna sit idly by, while they provide crappy service, make us wait on our work days and rip us off.
