| 1120 | Turlough Mills | It is scandalous that a council should move against a collective like the Commonplace which seeks to develop a creative community ethos in a city that has over-relied on finance and the service sector to define itself.
The Commonplace also reaches out positively to marginalised sectors of the community. I would not dream of giving my vote to a council that would wilfully act in such a destructive and repressive fashion. |

It is hugely hypocritical to waste public money on forcing what is essentually the closure of the Common Place when you are supposed to be following policy on sustainability, community support and developement.
Thank you for considering this appeal fairly, I hope that you are able to overturn the decision and continue supporting what is a brilliant example of non-profit community involvement, a space for arts and real people. |
