On Sunday July 5th 2009, News of The World announced that STV (Scottish Television) had announced plans to axe TV programme The Bill. It was charged with being too costly at £30,000 an episode and having falling viewing figures. The same paper reported that TV insiders feared that the cop show would now soon be axed altogether. Despite the fact that The Bill has recently undergone a makeover and moved to a later time to allow it to explore racier storylines, STV aren't interested. This online petition is set up to make STV realise that The Bill does have a lot of Scottish viewers and that they should BRING IT BACK!
