| 156 | Hugh Clarke | The movie captured the original intrigue that attracted audiences to the TV series. When a film is being made to be mass produced it is not able to take on the all the characteristics that made the original show so popular with its audience. This movie, as underrated as it maybe, was the first I've ever heard of the avengers. A director's cut of this film will introduce new consumers to the Avengers series and even start a resurgence of interest in the cult classic. |

| 165 | Felipe Morales | I acutally like the theatrical cut as a movie, but it felt like it was missing stuff. I wanted more when it was over only to find that there is more. It would be cool to see the extra action scenes and the movie as it was meant to be seen. |

| 178 | Joris | Help us.
It's not so difficult to realize what we want.
We all want to see the long version of The Avengers.
Critics were bad, but we can understand that if they cut a lot of scenes.
Perhaps with this new edition, critics will change.
Please, release a new version of the movie, the 120 min. version.
I hope you'll listen to us. |
| 179 | Des Glass | I think that releasing the version of the film that it's makers originally intended would be a very good thing and would allow the audience to view and appraise the movie that we should have seen before the enforced cuts were made. |
| 180 | Anonymous | The uncut version of this film should be released so that it can be seen as the Director originally intended. |

| 192 | Anonymous | The Avengers needs to be released uncut and unedited. With all the bad movies being re-re-re-released, here is one that is way overdue. Bring it out already. Even if it's not on BluRay... regular DVD would be nice. |
