The Right To Discipline

We, not only here in the USA, but in the world believe that as a parent we should have the right to discipline our children when they are bad or out of line in behavior. Certain discipline should be different according to age. Times are different from what they were 30 years ago when children were not so bad, and back then you could spank your kids at home or abroad. For years now you could not discipline your children, or be subject to arrest. And now they do what they like and use arrest as a threat. Therefore as a result, crime among juveniles has gotten more serious, more violent, more intense, and has dramatically also crossed over into violence towards the parents. This petitions pleads for the right that a parent has to discipline his or her child. The right for a parent to force his or her child to do well in school, stay away for troubling friends, gangs, and anything else that might bring future trouble or problems to the family. It is an American right that the republicans have taken away, and we want back. We have the right to do what we have to do to direct our children into the right path and respect for family, for others, and the law.
