United Property Owners (UPO) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit 501(c)4 public educational umbrella organization representing more than 78,000 concerned citizens, property owner groups, elected officials, national trade associations, small business owners, and local governments in thirty-eight states across Ameria. We joined together in 1989 in a joint effort to bring more balance to government decision-making, by giving local communities more voice in how their future is shaped by government policies relating to tribal recognition, fee-to-trust conversions, and tribal casino development. Our federal tax dollars are being used to sue innocent U.S. citizens by the Justice Department and Indian tribes, making claims to our privately-owned lands and natural resources. Tribal business monopolies are forcing thousands of tax-paying, law-abiding non-Indian businesses into bankruptcy. We seek to level the playing field by ending tribal business monopolies and saying \"No\" to apartheid in America so all U.S. citizens can enjoy equality under the law, Indians and non-Indians alike. We endorse no candidates nor are we aligned with any political party. Please visit the UPO web page at: http://www.unitedpropertyowners.org Thank you!
Citizens Equal Rights Alliance (CERA) is another national organization seeking equality under the law. You may visit the CERA web site at: http://www.citizensalliance.org
