Name: Anonymous on Nov 18, 2012Comments: I realise they told us that the readings were important, so I studied them. What I didn't expect was for the entire exam to be based on them. What was the point of going to the lectures and tutorials? Instead of going into uni, I could have just been at home studying the readings instead. Extremely disappointed considering I thought I was going to do well in this unit and now I'm not sure I even passed the exam.Flag

Name: Teresa West-Sooby on Nov 18, 2012Comments: As an external student I listened to every lecture, read all of the readings and this is what I believed I needed to study to prepare for the exam, which I did. No other instruction was given as to exam prep as far as I know from listening to online lectures or on blackboard. In the exam I felt as an external student that I must have missed some important instruction as to what I was meant to study, but seeing this petition has made me realise that it wasn't me. I too, feel this exam was not representative of what we learnt.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 18, 2012Comments: Of all the exams I did this semester, I found this to be the hardest one. Simply because the content in the exam hardly matched up with what we had learnt throughout the semester. The readings were also ridiculous. Even someone with an eidetic memory would have struggled with this exam!Flag

Name: Emma Curry on Nov 18, 2012Comments: I fully support this petition. Firstly, I searched for practice exams and could not locate them. As far as I could tell, they were not placed on Blackboard. Secondly, I feel the whole unit was haphazardly put together in that lecture recordings were hardly available and lastly, everyone kept saying if you don't read the readings you won't pass, and having read all the readings, the exam was a complete misrepresentation of all the content we had learnt!!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 18, 2012Comments: I attended every lecture & tutorial, was sitting on a 6 overall, and studied my ass off for this exam. I've never felt so disappointed and jipped by the content on an exam. 85% of it was obscure and not what when we had been told to learn in lectures and tutorials. Absolutely disgusted. Thanks for ruining my GPA that I worked hard for. Not happy.Flag
