All across America there has been some serious mistreatment of youth, as well as the laws involving youth. We fine people of America, believe that there must be a change. We believe that our youth of America deserve better. A head start on life with all it’s glory, and selfless ways of living, with prosperity, freedom, hope, and persistence. We of this committee decree ten revisions for the future of America. We of this committee have found ten revisions that must be made for the survivability and sustainability of the next generation of America. We believe that people our age are restricted of making our own income, as child labor is illegal. We believe that the youth of America should be free of child labour laws, as of the child proves capability, safety, willingness to work, proof of independent spending, and no external or forced virtue of pursuing work. ex: Family making child work, and depriving of youth’s income. This is a common example of child labour that should continue to be stopped. Child labour should not be dangerous or hazardous such as coal mining, or crabbing. Another one of our beliefs is that youth are often overlooked on laws and polls as of the effects it has on them. Children should be able to contribute politically and civically, personally contributing to the world around them, instead of watching decisions be made for them. In terms of election, children should represent themselves to the public, but not directly vote. Children should be represented by units of the government through large decisions such as tax increases and device/equipment requirements/laws (radio license, hunting license, etc.) We believe that juvenile children(17 and under) with a history of serious offense (ex: murder, drug possession, position to sell narcotics, etc) should not be allowed to be in a public area with large amounts of children or teenagers. If the child has been tried as a juvenile, then the child should be separated from other youth, as to prevent public exposure to indecencies. We also believe that in many public areas, freedom of speech has been put down, such as not allowing religious advertising, especially for non-ceremonial clothing( ex: a t-shirt with a cross on it or a hat that says “I love Jesus”). Children should be allowed the freedom of wearing and representing their ethnic background, religion, or beliefs. This is commonly put down in schools or other public buildings in which youth apply under government regulation. This should be ceased, as it denies amendment number one, which applies to every citizen, even youths. Unless the clothing is classified as offensive to others (showing or saying religious persecution, disapproving or downgrading other religions, etc.), this of which will be asked to leave, and if needed, call the authorities. If someone says a clothing article is offensive to them, but simply bears religious personal, this will be disregarded, as the person offended can bear personal advertisement as well. Our fifth plea for amendment is that Children under thirteen with personal communication devices (cell phones, tablets, etc.) shall be denied internet in places where the internet are supposed to be used for educational purposes (school, library, etc.) unless authorized by a teacher, librarian, or a parent. This should be confirmed once the authorities I have mentioned, have confirmed it for educational purposes. This is to prevent areas of learning to be denied their true purpose. This will also be applied to places of authority such as a court or government building. Probably one of the most common violations against youth is the respect towards their opinions. Youth opinion respect is hard to come by these days, and often gets overruled by those of more experience or age. Youth opinions should be taken into consideration, instead of being looked over and missed. Then, after the opinion is reviewed or listened to by a multitude, it can be overruled. This is taken in situations such as how to carry out a task, and not in questioning whether or not you should drop out of school and run away. One revision that must be made is defending the first amendment itself. This is,youth clothing is a large part of self expression and culture. Most clothing containing certain graphic images or giving a political standard or opinion are banned in certain public areas, such as restaurants and schools. In some cases, even a freedom of speech right is shoved away by a store owner or official. Youth should be allowed to wear clothing that express their ideas, opinions, and culture. If someone has a shirt that says “vote for webley” or “stay second amendment”, they should not be denied access or rights in public areas due to an opinion. If a shirt has sexually revealing images, violent suggestions, or any form of public indecency, there will be a problem with the nearest authority, and determined by the community. Our 8th concern for our youth is one that is commonly violated through over precautionary measures. Many children have basic privacy rights violated every day, in forms that are not ok such as locker and backpack searches, without reason, cameras near and around personal areas, cell phone sweeps and eavesdroppings, as well as unauthorised interrogation. These should be stopped through public legislatures and groups acquiring law enforcement permission or help to proceed, instead of privacy violations to resolve a potential problem in their own hands.

Now our ninth revision is something that probably all of America can agree with;public profanity. Our generation has been exposed to such large amounts of profanity and indecency. It has been subjected to more innapropriate variables than any other generation. I believe that to contain the further spreading of profanity, there should be laws against youth swearing and other explicit actions. Immoral actions and words should only be barred in public areas. This is also indecent to the people of the surroundings, as they probably do not want to hear the youth of America dropping the “F-Bomb” every ten seconds. Our final revision is most likely our most important; the education of America. America’s education has dropped, mainly through primary school, due to many distractions. Educational ties aren’t kept as closely as they should, as many school equipment is misused for entertainment purposes instead of educational ones. Games, social media, texting, and other units of communication or pleasure have replaced large amounts of time of the learning agenda, as students find ways to accomplish personal desires. These rules should be enforced to help increase campus learning desires. Another reason why youth education has dropped is because many assignments of today are electronic, copies of others, or learning through pre-set text or video. If teachers could take the time to do more class work that is personally thought of instead of projects or pre-prepared assignments, then general focus on learning would have a lot more impact on the students, and thus, a better education. These are our “Ten Commandments” of a youthful America, to build a better future today, and a brighter tomorrow, together. We hope you will support us, and help sign our petition to help bring these notifications to our government, and make a better world for our children to live in.
