Comments: It's ridiculous to not finish out the series on Steam. I can understand if EA does not publish games from new titles, but Sims 3 and several expansion/stuff packs are available on Steam. We have not gotten the Sweet Treats or the Diesel stuff packs, and Supernatural is also not available. Neither EA or Steam have announced anything official in regards to what is going on, but several people have said they got customer service responses telling them that EA has cut Steam off from any further Sims 3 titles. Since we cannot attach a retail copy of any the missing titles to our Steam accounts, we have no option but to either give up on any advancement to our game, or allow EA to force us into using Origin. I've been very happy with the way Steam runs Sims 3, and after experimenting with Origin I have no intention of buying any further Sims 3 titles unless they are available on Steam. I would very much like to see Steam get the missing stuff packs, Supernatural, and any further titles released for Sims 3.

Comments: This is becoming a absolute joke... First Mass Effect 3, now the sims 3 suffers from this childish behavior. EA just get with the fucken picture. You've been beaten STEAM will ALWAYS be more popular than Origin so why not just accept you can make money by selling your games on steam... why the fucken brand fight for who sells it.... fucken childish... it only benefits Steam more as people choose to fuck off Origin completely. There are many more games on steam worth playing then your shit on Origin. You only lose. Simple. By doing this you are only really forcing players into steams hands.

Comments: Please let this happen. SO many loyal customers want these games out on steam, don't deny the people who made you what you are today something liek that. Its not fair to have bought so many through steam in the first place and not even be able to update the game with new expansions because of selfish reasons. Listen to the fans who have always supported you, please.

Comments: I have all my games on Steam, a total of 130 now. I have Sims 3 and all the "larger" expansion packs. I will not be buying any game on Origin as well - I have one service that is working great. Please release your games on Steam as well. (This includes ME3...)

Comments: I have been itching to buy Sims 3 on Steam, but have been holding out, since I wanted the supernatural expansion to go with it, and was very disappointed when I found it hadn't come out on steam. I will definitely buy it, as well as other expansions, if it comes out on Steam.

Comments: I legitimately bought my game on steam and have spent hundreds on collecting all the expansions for Sims 3. I hate to day it but I will quit the game entirely and go elsewhere if they don't get over their issues and make the game available regardless of where they buy it from.

Comments: I would like to se the rest of Sims 3 expansion packs going to Steam, for completeness. Given that I have spent 2 years of my gaming budget on this franchise over the last 5 years, I really do not want to put more money down and start from scratch on a new service. Steam has worked well as a selling platform for the Sims packs, and a lot of people have it. An acceptable compromise for me is if Origin can verify that I have those expansion packs, and allow me to download them, I would by Supernatural for Origin, remove Sims 3 on Steam from my computer, and not download it again. But I refuse to start again, I have spent enough money on the franchise that despite how neat Supernatural and Season look I can say "well, that's that". If EA is trying to force me to buy all the expanion packs again - even as a discount of less than 95% off - then I will dig my heels in and not consider it. When Sims 4 comes out I will decide for myself whether to purchase it on it's own merits and flaws, not of the merits and flaws of Origin. But for the Sims 3 franshise, I am far too well invested on Steam to go to another service and be told "start again". Another possible compromise is purchasing physical copies (I'll just send my niece in rather than look counter staff in the eye), with the knowledge that they will install into or run on top of Sims 3 on steam, however there are major existing technical and legal hurdles that will prevent that from happening. I already know of a few people complaining that this method does not work, and I can think of two reasons why on Windows 7, and I know a part of the agreement publishers sign with Steam is that Steam must get a cut of any DLC sales that are made within or run alongside the Steam version of a game. So for me, Supernatural and Seasons and other Sims 3 packs must continue to be available on Steam for me to consider buying them without one of those compromises. And unfortunately we know those compromises are not likely to happen.
