The United States of America is one of the most advanced nations on the planet. How can they constantly turn a blind eye to all the deaths from unregulated gun control. Old people, young people and children lose their lives whilst the gun lobby refer to the bill of rights, which states that people have the right to bear arms. This was adopted in 1791. It is now 2013. It is no longer about settlers in the wild west. It's about people living in 'civilised' neighbourhoods. The United States supposedly leads the rest of the world in commerce, innovation, exploration. Let the rest of the world show, through this petition, that the U.S. are not always world leaders and that we want them to show us that they are not afraid of change, however difficult it may be. Think of your people - be bold!
