I launch this petition, in aid for the support of our fellow community, that our government and courts failed to give. The classical immigration topic has been caught up in our ears and minds for far too long now, I agree I too am fed up. Everyday someone gets deported back to the country that they came from.

However, I really am counting on you, whether you think that this is not any different too the other cases you hear about or not, isn't what I am bothered about. I am bothered about your humanity to support me and my family.

My grandma came from India to the UK nearly 14 years ago to support my disabled mother who was diagnosed, with Multiple Sclerosis and Lupus back in 2002, when I was 3 years old, soon after my grandma came to the country. I am disheartened to say that, after 14 years of a lot of fighting within the courts, the Home Office, have decided it is time for her to go back. They say they can offer us other help if my Grandma goes back, but is that help really going to be the same?

My Grandma is a second mother to me and my sisters, and it is cruel to separate children from their mothers. Put yourself in our position, how would you like or even feel to have someone you love or someone your close to taken away from you? As cruel as it sounds, it's hard to picture yourself in a position you do not want to be in, so then why let someone else easily go through it? She takes the role of a carer in our household; where she takes my younger siblings to school, assists with meals and does the cleaning. She is even involved in all the decisions made in the household equally, with my parents. Alongside, all of the other support she provides the family, for example the emotional support and the security. Her leaving, therefore, would cause a emotional impact on us sisters that is quite long lasting. It would break our hearts to know she cannot live with us no more. Yes, there are other means of communications through the modern technology we now live in, but that still would not cover the distance between us and our grandma.

Please support us, with just a sign. And forward on to your contacts too.Thank you.
