Children of undocumented parents suffer most when ICE rounds up and detains undocumented immigrants without thought to whether they have children who are then left to fend for themselves. The Humane Enforcement and Legal Protections (HELP) for Separated Children Act would identify such kids, inform state and local services, and help prioritize the release of parents so that they can take care of their children. This legislation is much needed if we are a nation that values families and children. Please urge your Members of Congress to support the HELP Separated Children Act and keep our families together.
