In the grand national there are so many issues that need to be resolved: There are too many horses meaning the race is not fair as horses often fall over other horses. The Jumps are too high meaning more horses fall and are then killed. There is very often excessive use of whip which is animal cruelty and also adds to the aspect of the race not being fair. The horses are also put down too easily as if they injure their leg then they can not race for a while so they are put down but the injured horses can be taken in by charities and can be given a new home etc...
