We, the students, faculty and staff members of the American university in Cairo fully agree with the complete shut down of AUC campus on until our two demands are met:
1. Reduction of the 7% increase in tuition fees.
2. The establishment of a tuition cap program to be effective immediately.
Unfortunately, this step is due to exhausting all other efforts and means of negotiations with the administration.
The power is with the students for the students.
