When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one body of individual thinkers to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another political party of collective thinkers, and to assume the leadership of this nation, the United States of America, via a duly elected leader called the President, they should state the causes that impel them to that separation.

Leaders largely from the political organization known as the Democratic Party (and to a lesser degree, the Republican Party) have failed to govern this nation based on the precepts of what it was established to be, a constitutional republic. This includes rule by executive order and political agenda, including the dismantling and erosion of our freedoms, by subverting a free market society that should be unencumbered by over-taxation and over-regulation. It includes attempting to control the important aspects of our daily lives, including healthcare, banking, social welfare programs, and education. It also includes a more subversive agenda of disarming our citizenry, a proliferation of class warfare, and racial sub-division.

More recently, citizens opposing the Democratic Party tagged as “A basket of deplorables” by Secretary Clinton, have been abused by the television and printed news media, largely sympathetic to the progressive agenda. They’ve had their right to assemble impeded by agitators paid by covert members of the Democratic Party, and in some cases, other organizations seeking to create discord and anarchy. Opponents of progressives have been subjected to verbal and physical harassment and having protest groups led by paid agitators blocking roads and pathways to rallies for Donald Trump.

Furthermore, Republicans have been unfairly labeled as racist, nativist, xenophobic, and sexist for opposing the Democratic Party presidential candidate. Apparently, since many Democrats have forgotten the meaning of libel and slander, let the author of this document remind them we too have the right to free speech without being subjected to abuse and intimidation. And we will not allow the Democratic Party to marginalize our rights as citizens by controlling the media, over talking us, or wishing away our voting mandate.

Therefore, it will be the job of the deplorable to not let progressives insult them into silence, or attempt to subvert our voices from being heard. Nor will we let them prevent us from electing the candidates we wish to represent us or prevent us from protecting the values we hold sacred. These include:

  • Freedom of religion
  • Freedom from education that is corrupted by social doctrine or history that is rewritten to suit the needs of a progressive agenda. This outdated thinking should be replaced by a conservative goal of retooling the American educational curriculum to focus on math, science, language, philosophy, music, athletics, and teaching lessons in creationism as well as Darwinism. Furthermore, primary school education should have a heavy focus on understanding the fundamentals of a constitutional republic, including the three branches of government and the clear separation of church and state.
  • The proliferation of the tried and true values that encourage competition, hard work, fair play, and aspiring to succeed.
  • Freedom from the socialist principles of government wealth redistribution and control of our financial institutions and any monitoring or government control of wealth or property made or gained by legitimate legal means. As far as the US citizen’s right to succeed in business or amass wealth, it’s none of the government’s business.
  • Citizens of the United States shall not be singled out or abused by federal government institutions such as the Internal Revenue Service. Everyone should pay a fair tax. And, our representatives should endeavor to design a fair flat tax system that favors no class of people over another.
  • Citizens of the United States shall be allowed to continue to have peaceful assembly and protest, but not to the extent of allowing protesters to impede other citizens with opposing views, or allowing mob rule or rioting that destroys lives and property. And any attempt to incite rioting and anarchy will be met with strong civil authority to restore law and order.
  • That the federal government and it’s elected officials will be subject to operating expenses defined by well-designed fiscal budgets, and will not overspend on wasteful programs nor will they continue to support long term social welfare program abusers. The members of our congress will endeavor to study lean management programs, efficient organizational management, and best practices on how to run our government, while concurrently reducing our bloated national debt.
  • The federal government will not allow a disgruntled voting block of citizens to illegally challenge the tried and true Electoral College system designed by our founding fathers, just because they don’t like the outcome of an election. Nor will they allow disgruntled voting blocks to change the rules of a legally held election after the results are tabulated.
  • Halt the appointment of Supreme Court justices that seek to legislate from the bench, rather than having judges that enforce our constitution and laws of the land.
  • The repeal of onerous restrictions on business, repeal of healthcare requirements that are strangling the small businessman, restrict the power of the EPA, and AQMD to impose fines and impede manufacturers from making products within reasonable limits of the law. And not seek environmental management to the unreasonable and disastrous financial distress these agencies have caused our economy.
  • Allow private American companies to drill and mine our nation’s natural resources and truly become the energy-independent United States.
  • Allow private colleges to continue to thrive but make public college education not free, but affordable for those who seek it. Continue to provide grants and loans for individuals who don’t have the means to pay for further education. Continue low-interest loans for students.
  • Install and maintain term limits for people elected to the Senate and House of Representatives, as well as an appointment to the Supreme Court. No public official should have a job for life. It smacks of a monarchy.
  • To not continue to subsidize nations such as Pakistan and Iran or any other nation that is known to or suspected of harboring terrorists. Nor will our government be encouraged to make deals of any kind with these nations that don’t represent the best interest of the American people.
  • Having a president and federal government that will maintain a high-tech and powerful military that will strategically defend our nation and our interests, without committing large forces of ground troops to nation-building or long term foreign wars such as the one being fought in Afghanistan. However, the United States will continue to protect our staunch allies such as Israel and the members of NATO. But again, only within the limits of what our nation can financially afford.
  • That our elected representatives will endeavor to control our borders using a system of legal due process, which includes a comprehensive vetting process before allowing US residency and a slow path to citizenship based on obeying our laws and individual merit. But will not discriminate based on race, religion, or any other protected category under the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
  • The federal government will determine ways to operate using lean management, rather than over-taxation of its citizens. And that review boards will be set up to determine where the money is being wasted in every aspect of government, including social welfare programs. Though we should endeavor to take care of all our citizens, this cannot be done using the current, unsustainable business model of spending more money than we take in.
  • This one is for our news media organizations. The deplorable's will endeavor to keep you honest and encourage you to move away from the incredibly biased coverage, including commentary in favor of one political agenda over another or allowing correspondents to shape or control political debates like you so gleefully did during the 2016 and 2020 presidential contest.
