In this time of urgency in Somalia we, the undersigned United States Citizens, strongly protest the malicious crimes committed against humanity by Somali militants towards Somali children. The United Nations and AMISON have made valiant efforts to stop the violence in Somalia which has led to this small window of opportunity to save the children of Somalia from being exploited into child soldiers.
Therefore we strongly urge the leaders of the United Nations to:
1. Reallocate and provide AMISON resources in Somalia for the benefit of Somali children. Such as (but not limited to) guarding education centers.
2. Establish safe zones for Somali children refugees displaced from home.
3. Provide incentives for children to abandon military operations.
