The news is out and Cheap Trick is finally being inducted. My hands are shaking as I type this because it was such a long and draining fight. Thank you for staying with me until the very end.

We, the undersigned citizens do hereby request that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame please nominate and induct Cheap Trick into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for 2016.
Cheap Trick meets all eligibility requirements to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Cheap Trick was signed to Epic Records in 1975 with their first album released in early 1977. They are currently recording their 17th studio album and their discography includes four compilation / box sets and five live albums. Cheap Trick has released such hits as Surrender, I Want You to Want Me, California Man, Dream Police and The Flame to name a few. Cheap Trick is also an internationally known artist with their Live at Budokan album obtaining multiple platinum status. Cheap Trick has inspired and influenced many singers, songwriters, and artists over the past 40 plus years. We feel Cheap Tricks long history and musical excellence and their contribution to Rock and Roll History are deserving of being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The momentum behind this effort has grown to a point I once thought impossible. It has been an exhausting road but seeing this level of recognition for the band keeps me pushing forward.

I hope cheap trick is inducted in the hall of fame. They are from Rockford & are a very good band.
Cheap Trick's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is LONG overdue! How many more decades must they perform before they're inducted?
It's about time the Rockford boys were inducted into the Rock HOF (that includes Bun E. Carlos too, current members, none of this KISS b.s.!!!)
These "home town" boys are more than deserving of this. We do want you to want them!
i have seen Cheap Trick since i was 15 yrs old. they continue t9 put out the best ROCK N ROLL music to this day

Cheap Trick not being inducted into the Hall of Fame is travesty that needs to be corrected ASAP.
