Charlie Herron was the Director of Bands at Ross N. Robinson Middle from 1974 to 2008/9. Under his direction the band won numerous awards from Tennessee Music Educators Association, State Concert Festivals, and otheraccoladesfrom the community. He has enriched the lives of thousands of students through is direct and demanding demeanor, while at the same time showing each student the potential they have for success.
