Name: Shannon Flynn on Feb 1, 2010Comments: Growing up around hockey all my life, it's always been a pleasure to watch pure talent in the game. Jiggy, you've been the epitome of greatness during your time in goal. I've even seen you play in Halifax with the Mooseheads and you were stunning even then. Don't let the past two year phase you...all you need is a fresh start and you'll be back to the same ol' Jiggy that we all know and love. I'm sad to see you go...loved going to the game and seeing you play. But in the end, I hope it's for the best...and maybe someday, we'll see you in a Ducks jersey again! Best of luck in Toronto...we'll definitely miss you.Flag

Name: Dave B on Feb 1, 2010Comments: JS, As a Ducks fan, I wish you nothing but the best. We looked up to you for what you did on the ice - giving us Ducks fans the ride of our life in 2003, a trip to the Western Conference Finals in 2006, and finally a Cup in California in 2007. But we respected you even more for what you did off the ice, even though your home town was so far away. Your community involvement, your inspirational attitude in the face of adversity after the birth of your son. You made Orange County your own, and we were more than happy to have you here. Almost 10 years is a very long time to be with a single franchise, which speaks to how hard you worked, and how much you were appreciated. My nephew and son grew up yelling 'JIGGGGGGGYYYYYYYYYYYY.' I'm going to miss that. Best wishes. PS - Don't take it personally when Perry "accidentally" bumps you a little bit next year. It's just hockey. <grin>Flag

Name: ChicagoKen on Feb 1, 2010Comments: Ive followed the Ducks since their inception into the league and Jiggy, you are without doubt the best goaltender to play for them in their history. Of course the Stanley Cup year will never be forgotten but to me it was even more amazing to see you almost single-handedly carry the team on your back to game 7 of the 2003 cup finals -- that was simply incredible. Best of luck in Toronto, it will be good to see you in the #1 role you deserve there. Now I'll have a reason to actually watch some Maple Leaf games on Center Ice!Flag

Name: Robert Breen on Feb 1, 2010Comments: Thank you JS... I was a season ticket holder when you made the run to the Cup in 2003 and you provided my wife and I with amazing memories, not just with your play but leadership off the ice. We'd moved back to Canada by the time you lead our Ducks to the Cup, but we watched every minute. I'd say we're going to miss you... but I did grow up in Ontario as a Leafs fan, so I'll instead say "welcome!" Very much looking forward to seeing you here too.Flag

Name: Heidi L. on Feb 2, 2010Comments: Jiggy, You are the reason I started following the Ducks back in 2003. You are the reason I spent my 40th birthday in the 7th row behind your goal net in Anaheim. I cried when hearing about your son's eye problem because it reminded me of my grandson's tough start two years earlier. My favorite memory of you is when the Ducks' won the cup and you raising your arms into the air and then watching you skate around with your young son in your arms. Thank you for all you have done for this team. You will always be in the hearts of all Duck fans as you and your family will be in all of our hearts. I know you are going to be a great addition to Toronto and they are lucky to have you. I will miss you Jiggy.Flag

Name: Sebastian on Feb 2, 2010Comments: We all have images, tattooed in out minds, memories of family, friends, etc. In one of those images, there's a Duck, the end of a game seven, a Conn Smythe Trophy winner, the end of the greatest playoff effort by a single man in Ducks history in my opinion. I think I can speak for many, a lot of us cried with you Jiggy. The other image came in 2007 with the cup over your head, and like in 03, a lot of us cried too. The best happened with you between the posts and we will always remember that. Say Hi to Beau for us. God Bless and Good Luck in Toronto, I will be watching your games proudly wearing a Leafs jersey with your name on it.Flag

Both on and off the ice, you have been a class act and probably the main reason I became a Ducks fan. I wish you and your family all the best in Toronto and will continue to cheer you on. On a personal note, thank you so much for meeting with my husband to sign my jersey with a special birthday greeting as a surprise gift for me. It took three years (and many functions where I didn't have it for you to sign), but I finally have it as a wonderful keepsake and reminder of what a special hockey player and gentleman that you are. Best of luck in Toronto...they don't have any idea how lucky they are!Flag

Name: Bernice Barnett on Feb 2, 2010Comments: You have been the face of the Ducks for as long as I can remember. I know Hockey is a business and this move will be your opportunity to be the #1 goalie again but I cried none-the-less when I heard you were traded. Toronto is a very special market I will watch eagerly on Center Ice all your games as I now live out of market (moved from California to New Mexico) so they are all available to me. Hope this move works out well for your family. I am now awaiting that future date when the Anaheim Ducks retire your number. You are the best.Flag

Name: Paul Lorona on Feb 2, 2010Comments: JS, when we last spoke I told you that I absolutely believed that you have another Stanley Cup ring in your future. You asked me if I had seen that in the cards, and I replied that I knew it with my heart. I still do. It won't be with Anaheim, I guess, but that's OK. You will take your A game wherever you go, and wherever you play you will lift that team to new highs. One other thing I know - # 35 will hang from the rafters at Honda Center one day, and the sooner the better. It feels good to go home, doesn't it? Good luck to you and your family. Live and play well, my friend.Flag
