Comments: I am a very big fan! I read about the trade first thing this morning and I already felt like my day was ruined. I have your jersey, which I got signed by you last year. I would cheer for you too much at the games (and by that I mean my family would start getting annoyed). I will miss watching you play for the Ducks and I hope Toronto treats you well. Good luck!!

Comments: Jiggy- I would like to thank you for everything you did here in Anaheim. You have been a truly amazing goalie and I wish you nothing but the best in Toronto. I will always remember when you won the Conn Smythe Trophy and the Stanley Cup. I have enjoyed your amazing smile and the friendliness you have showed myself and the fans either at Anaheim Ice or the Honda Center. I will truly miss you and can't wait to see you again when the Leafs return to Anaheim. Best of luck always and always remember the great times and fans here in Anaheim.

Comments: Dear Jean Sebastian (JS) Giguere, I want to personally thank you for being an Anaheim Duck and in my opinion the model of the Anaheim Ducks for the past several years. I don’t live in Anaheim. I live about 650 miles away. I loved the duo of Kariya and Selanne, what took me away from my love of the Los Angeles Kings, but later got distracted while living in Michigan for a short time. However, your goaltending and your love of the game brought me back to the Anaheim Ducks in 2002. I still loved the Ducks during that short time away, but I didn’t follow the team. I still remember listening to NHL.com’s radio feed of your shutout win of 5-0 over your hero Mario Lemieux in December of 2002. While going to the Cup Finals in 2003 I was serving my church in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and was only allowed to check my e-mail once a week. My future brother in law taped your shutouts on the VCR and saved the tapes for me. My younger brothers sent me newspaper articles and scores through the mail and internet. Your shutout streak gave me inspiration to achieve difficult goals. Your face of disappointment upon losing gave me hope for the team and what the future may hold. You taught me an important lesson; you can’t win them all, but you can enjoy the ride along the way. My son was born March 30, 2007, a few weeks within your son’s birth. I remember reading what was happening with Maxime’s eyes and praying for your family, wondering what it would be like for me to go through the same with my newborn son. Following the playoffs this time was much easier than 2003 (and 2006 for that matter). I was so relieved when you got your job back from Bryz to take on Vancouver, to best Detroit and to finish the finals to win the Cup against Ottawa. The past two years since have been hard for me to watch. I’ve cheered you on every day when others doubted, I knew there was a warrior inside you. You deserve to be number one Giggy. I’m so sad to see you leave the franchise, but I am glad you will be able to rise to the top again. A part of me hopes you shut the Ducks out the next time we see you, well, as long as you don’t ruin anything for us. Thank you, J.S. You’re the best. We won’t ever forget what you did for us. Sincerely, Bryce Randle

Comments: The ducks organization and Californian hockey owes you a lot. You were key to bringing the first Stanley Cup to California. But more than just the trophies, you brought a strong work ethic and professionalism to the ice day in and day out. The ducks and the Anaheim community have been impacted by you and your absence will be felt. I wish you the best in Toronto.

Comments: Dear Jiggy, Thank you for all that you have given the Anaheim franchise. As a Mighty Duck, you gave us one of the most spectacular runs a fan could ever wish for...You stood on your head for us. I was very appreciative of that effort but also very proud to see you claim that Conn Smythe but knew you wanted the Cup more! You have been a true ambassador for this organization and along with Teemu Selanne you were the faces of this franchise. Of course finally in 2007 you brought the Cup to Anaheim. I will never forget that amazing season. But seeing you with your son made that moment in time even more special. It saddens my heart to see you leave Anaheim but I know you will do well in Toronto. So thank you J.S. for everything! You will be missed!!!

Thank you for all the memories in Anaheim on and off the ice. You have always remained such an amazing person and someone to admire through all the adversity you've faced. Thank you for leading the Ducks, the two Stanley Cup runs ending with a Cup and the Conn Smythe. Cannot wait until #35 is raised to the Honda Center rafters. I'll keep cheering you on from New York. Comments: The best to you and your family. Always a class act, you will be missed greatly by the fans who grew to love hockey in southern CA because of a Frenchman who could cover pucks better than the rest of the goalies in the league. It doesn't seem possible to say the Ducks and not include Jiggy - hope that you find much success in your new home.

Comments: I was introduced to hockey by family in Buffalo, but I fell in love with it because of the Ducks, particularly Giguere. My second hockey game was Game 3 of the 2003 Cup Finals, and I was absolutely spellbound by the Ducks - and Giguere's performance. Throughout the years I've followed hockey since then, Giguere has been my favorite player, both for his class and skill, and he'll be missed.

Comments: It broke my heart to hear the news that Jiggy was leaving Anaheim...until 2007 I didn't know anything about hockey. I talked my sister in law into go to the Meet The Team event and met Jiggy for the first time! My son had just been diagnosed with a brain tumor and had three brain surgeries to follow...he was one month out of surgery when i met Jiggy. I walked around with Nick's picture all night and his Ducks jersey and got autographs from everyone but Jiggy went even further...inviting Nick to the locker room after the next home game. This at a point where my family was so lost and falling apart...Jiggy did something amazing for us...to be so kind to my son when he could have easily just signed the jersey and walked away! He has even remembered Nick at every event and asked how he was! Since then I have become a huge Ducks fan and I'm so sad to see Jiggy leave! You will be missed Jiggy! You will always be a Duck in our hearts! We wish you and your family only the best! Thank you for being so kind to my family over the last few years! We love you!

I still remember the run you had during the 2003 Playoffs, just amazing. I have a friend in New Jersey that was blown away by how you played. To this day, he still talks about it. As for 2007...what can I say, you helped the Amazing Ducks team from 2006-07 bring the Stanley Cup to Anaheim..a memory I have plastered all over my apartment and at my desk at work. You will always get a very warm welcome back in Anaheim from this Duck fan forever. I wish you and your family the best luck ever and my best to your career. The Ducks have lost our BEST GOALIE EVER.

We've prayed for your family as you dealt with blow after blow. I'm so sad to see you go, but thrilled you'll be No. 1 in Toronto. Being on a team with Selanne, Niedermayer, and Marchant has made watching the Ducks that much more exciting, even through the ups and downs. I love watching you play and I'm glad I will be able to see you in action more often in Toronto. With any sport, the main goal of playing is fun. Last year as his Christmas present my wife and Igot him a trip to Anaheimn to watch the Ducks play Tampa Bay and New Jersey. Brian Hayward arranged for him to meet you after the Saturday practice. You are his absolute hero and are the reason he is a goalie. In fact he has "WWJD - What would Jiggy Do?" painted on the backplate of his mask. The sight of him talking to you, Jonas and Francois on the bench at the Honda Centre is a moment he and I will share for our entire lives.
