Thank you, President Bush

The petition

President Bush, as you come to the close of your last year in office, we, the People of these United States, extend our profound thanks and gratitude to your for fulfilling your constitutional duty to keep us safe from enemy attacks from outside and inside this country.

Sir, we know that you have been reviled by the media and the Democrats. However, we, the People, know that you have done everything you could to preserve this country after 9/11. Thanks to every measure you have employed since, terrorists have not been able to strike us on our soil.

We, the People, know that, thanks to your, our military in Afghanistan and Iraq were free to decimate the enemy and teach them the United States is not a paper tiger.

Sir, you have done much to restore American prestige and military standing around the world. Because of you, the world knows that when America says "Don't Tread on Me," she means it. All it took was one man with the conviction to lead.

Thank you, President Bush. God bless you, and God bless America.
