Name: Frances Hillier on Mar 1, 2003State:Country: UKComments: We should be fighting a war against POVERTY. Poverty is the root cause of aggression, crime and violence. There IS ENOUGH for everyone in the world if we are prepared to accept that we are all equal and all life is interrelated.Flag

Name: Ina Bliss on Mar 1, 2003State: TXCountry: USComments: I am from Berlin, Germany, and have had to be ashamed of my own coutry's history that was based on invasion, totalitarian ideas and the ill-concieved theory of the possibility of supremacy, regardless from which angle it is viewed. As an American citizen, I do not want that type of history repeated, yet another time by my new-found home country!! I believe that the very long agenda of interference in sovereign territories by the US should end (reference to my brothers & sisters Vietnam vets, who are still suffering, and whose war did not bear a chance of victory), and our combined energies should be directed toward progress of human consciousness, as well as joyful living, even without the slightest judgment, as dictated by ancient (bible) wisdom. If we direct our energy toward war, we receive MORE of it, period. Let us begin to actually live according to these priciples, and be rewarded with the truly positive outcome that is in our might, particularly because all Americans involved were raised in that faith. On a side-note, nuclear weapons are NOT the ultimate threat in our times. It is dangerous to pick out a scapegoat like Iraq, triggering a war that we neither have the means to understand (Nietzsche 'knowing' your enemy...), nor to fight the effects of it in the biological and chemical realm at the home-front.Flag

Name: Muhammad Abbas on Mar 2, 2003State: WVCountry: UKComments: to present this elective war as moral and in the iraqi name is scandalous. Iraqies are eternally gratefull to those great people who demonstrated on the 15th of february and who continue to demonstrate in their towns and workplace. This is a colonialist war without moral authority. Dr Mabbas.Flag

Name: Hilary Prodanova on Mar 9, 2003State:Country: DEComments: I am a U.S. Citizen from NYC living in Germany. A dear friend of mine comes from Baghdad and still has 28 family members unable to leave that city, who would be killed in the event of a war. Another good friend here lost an uncle in the 9/11 WTC attacks, but is like most of us, staunchly against THIS so-called "war on terror," far preferring to see Iraq continue to be disarmed peacefully, through the U.N. Security Council and Weapons Inspectors. It's working. We MUST keep the PEACE.Flag
