The purpose of this petition is to adress the issue of the lack of local primary school places in 2012; we understand that over 100 children have no place to start school this year. We demand that Enfield Council do the following: - increase the overall provision of places within the Borough of Enfield for primary school children - create 'bulge classes' at Walker Primary and St Monicas for this year - support planning permission to extend Walker school on a permanent basis - investigate the 'admission rule cheats' who falsely claim to live locally - redefine sibling rules such that a family must remain in the local area in order for them to continue to be entitled to a sibling place at a school
