Stop Overdevelopment of Orchard Street

We, the undersigned, urge officials in the Town of Greenwich, to protect our town from overdevelopment and adhere to the 2009 Plan of Conservation and Development.
Orchard Street, while pedestrian in nature, handles 6,000-8,000 cars, trucks, and buses on a daily basis. The proposal to build a large, oversized, commercial structure by combining multiple small lots in an overly-congested, residential neighborhood (and on a highly trafficked and narrow road) will diminish neighbors' property values, endanger pedestrian safety, and create traffic hazards for residents and transient motor vehicles alike.
We urge Town of Greenwich officials to protect all its citizens from the hazards of overdevelopment at 92 Orchard Street, and to adhere to the 2009 Plan of Conservation and Development.
