"I love you Mom ... I'll call you from the school as soon as I get there. Have a Happy Valentine’s Day weekend, I’ll be safe and I won’t miss that 12:30 bus on Monday”. Hugs and kisses were exchanged between us and I could see the joy and elation on my son's face. I stood and looked at Terron ... I was so proud! I admired my handsome son as he aboarded the bus for his weekend getaway. He was growing up and maturing ... soon he would be graduating from high school and going off to college.

Terron kept his word and called me as soon as he arrived at his destination. I told him: "I" loved him, "to be safe, enjoy his Valentine's Weekend and have fun!" Regrettably, Terron never had the opportunity to reboard the bus because "he collapsed on the gym floor while he was playing basketball".

I (Leslie Pipes) was looking forward to reuniting with my son and too also hear about his weekend. Instead I received a final phone call that informed me that my son, "Terron" had expired.

Terron Kosi Massenburg rest in peace! We love you and you will never be forgotten! This petition is to give clarity and homage of who you were. We want to demonstrate to others how valuable and precious your life was and still is to us: your parents, family, friends, pastor, educators, mentors. Coaches, neighbors, etc...
