Name: Casey Hire on Nov 14, 2007Comments: I still have the UO Football recruiting media guide for the '03-04 season, with Terrence Kelly's name all over the cover. As a former student at the UO and current Eugene resident, I continue to feel for Kelly and his family. This was a terrible tragedy, and sadly, an example of the acts of violence that our youth must face everyday, Of course, our youth in our town are not touched by this kind of senseless killing as often as the may in LA. But Kelly's death brought it here, and to so many in the Oregon community, it was a harsh reality of a life cut short too soon. Please consider the above petition. I know it would mean a lot to this fan.Flag

They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." -Revelations 21:3-4Flag

Name: Ofc J Grivetti Richmond PD on Mar 11, 2008Comments: Please take the time to honor Terrence on this day. His senseless death is something that bothers me every day. Terrence was the kid who would have gone on to bigger and better things if he were alive today. His athletic and academic accomplishments were his ticket out of a city ripe with crime and despair. He is still in the thoughts of his family, friends and the community. I think about him every time I drive by 7th/Nevin....we have to stop the violence. Ofc J.
