Residents Petition Against New Rules

This petition is concerning our Pets, Limited Access to E.G. Sewell Park, Balconies Use and Guest Parking.

Go to: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/terrazas

Pets:

We all paid a $500.00 pet deposit plus $15.00 a month on our rent to be able to have pets in the building. We are now forced to use back doors and pathways that aren’t always safely lit at night since the lobby has been remolded. The new lobby furnitureexcuseis ridiculous. We are being treated like second-class citizens in this building and almost punished for having a pet. To check mail or get a package… Pet owners now need to make two trips down to accomplish what we have always been able to do in one trip. This does not benefit any of us one bit.

E.G. Sewell Park:

The City of Miami’s official hours of operation for E. G. Sewell Park are from Sunrise to Sundown. I’m sure many residents would agree we should at least have access to the park during normal hours of operations. Management has decided to close access to the park at 7:00pm withoutnotice. Part of the selling point for many residents is the advantage of a city park attached to our building. Why are we being locked out with hours of daylight left to enjoy?

Balconies:

Management had sent us a notice many weeks ago that the building would be painted and to remove our patio furniture till further notice. I demand we all be reimbursed a percentage of our rents for not being able to enjoy our balconies during this time. We at least demand a timeline for each floors completion. Our living rooms are not the buildings personal storage.

Guest Parking:

The new sales department has taken over all of the first floors guest parking spaces. Which is totally understandable during the day… Losing those extra spaces in the evening hours is going way too far. We need those spaces available as they were when the building was for lease only.

If you agree that these changes are making life complicated at the Terrazas, Please sign the petition and make your voices heard.
