I think the current political climate is a clear indication that politicians, on both sides of the aisle, are bought and paid for. The only way to change Washington, in my opinion, is to limit Senators and Congressmen/women to one term so that they will do what is right and not what will get them re-elected. The fact that 30 democrats voted against a bill that would save Americans millions of dollars, if not more, on perscription drugs by negotiating with other countries to get cheaper drugs, speaks volumes about their character. If we want anything to change in this country we need to get the money and corporate interests out of Washington and I think this petition may be able to send a message to the politicians. This is as bi-tri-quad-etc-partisian as it gets. I don't care if you are a republican, democrat, independent, conservative, liberal, progressive, socialist, marxist, communist, libertarian, gay, straight, man, woman or child. This is about WE THE PEOPLE and how government needs to start working for ALL of us. Thanks.
