This petition is to geared towards the creation of a place where teeanagers could go to. this place would be beneficial to all the people involved in the arrangment, the most obvious being the teenagers. They would have a place to go to when they had nothing else to do, and seeing as how this place would be a town recognized and endorsed project, it would be known as a safe place. The place would have many things to do, such as an open mike, which one day could be used for a band and the next day for a stand up comedian. the possibilites are endless. The place would have drinks and the such for the teenagers. It would also have arranged activities during the days and nights. It would also have ping pong tables and pool tables, possibly even some arcade games and pinball. The place would have a benefit to the parents of such children, as the parents would know where the children were. It would be a safe place for the parents to let their kids go to, and it will encourage the children to do constructive things with their time, so they will be less likely to go out and do things the parents would deem unacceptable. As a benefit to the town itself, it would be possible to create a revune of sorts, the place would have a low admission fee (2-3 dollars) to help cover operating costs, but it could also be used as a place to advertise and not only cover operating costs, but give some money to the city, the rest could be used for pro-children activities, such as anti-drug groups. As the town hall can see, a building such as this is beneficial arrangment to all involved.
