Whether it is Cartoon Network or CNN Ted Turner has changed the lives of every American who has ever sat in front of a television. Recently Mr. Turner was hospitalized leaving many worried about his health and well being. Thankfully, after surgery due to appendicitis, he is recovering fine, but this event has made apparent the reality of his innevitable death. This is a petition for a Federal holiday made to commemorate Ted Turner and his accomplishments, educate the American youth in philanthropy, the rewards of hard work and perservernence, and as a reminder that the American dream is still alive and well today.
