Comments: This is a key section of the trail and needs to be re-opened as soon as possible.

Comments: There is a good argument that the past use of that part of the trail has established a prescriptive easement on the part of of the Greenway. If the current owners continue to block this existing trail and are unwilling to negotiate in good faith with the Township to reopen it, the Township should take the property representing that portion of the trail by eminent domain.

Comments: The Greenway is a wonderful, peaceful green asset in an otherwise congested, polarized, frenetic community. To have it disrupted and disconnected by one property owner after several years of enjoyment frustrates the purpose of the Greenway. It seems clear that other property owners along the Greenway are never impinged or interfered with by riverway travelers, and trespass seems to have never been an issue. We would also support the township's continued purchase of river rights-of-way in order to extend this unique community asset.

Comments: Seems ridiculous to have to leave the trail when we used to walk straight on by this house.

Comments: The Greenway is an incredible resource for Teaneck and neighboring towns, sustained by the best sort of volunteer involvement. Your willingness to undertake this initiative would show a smart appreciation of citizen activism in a great cause; Greenway supporters will notice and appreciate your efforts.
