It is currently against the law to teach The Theory of Evolution in science classes. Many believe it infringes upon the students' religions. Evolution is not a religion, but a scientifically based theory on the evolution of human beings. Not teaching this to our children is unfair to them- science is the key to our future. Our future scientists are our children, and teaching them Biology without Evolution is like teaching about Hitler without mentioning The Holocaust (just an example- sorry if I offended anyone).
