Recently, the teachers of Ontario have begun
to go on strike and are taking away all extracurricular activities and I would
like to put an end to it. Extracurricular activities are just as important as
curricular activities and invites children to try something new. Extracurricular
activities also allow children to find their passion and strive for success in
that profession. This temporary change has disappointed many students who have
spent a lot of time practicing or preparing for tryouts or auditions and will
never get the chance to participate. Fortunately, a couple children did have
the chance to participate in volleyball and choir, but many will not get a
chance to participate in any extracurricular activities if this continues. Sign
