By signing this petition you are agreeing to let teachers talk about religion during school hours and allowing them to express their religious beliefs and thoughts. This doesn’t mean that they can influence children with their thoughts and beliefs. With this being said all religions will be able to be talked about (but not teached). This means that children do not have to watch, listen or read about other religions or theories. They do not have to be engaged in a conversation about religions that they do not believe in. By signing this petition you are also supporting the first amendment of the Bill Of Rights. (Amendment 1: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.) This states that the government can not make any law respecting one type of religion or beliefs and can not prohibit the free exercise. So with this being said the government can not ban a person/teacher from speaking about there religion in any public place, including schools.
