By signing this petition you are agreeing to let religion run freely in public schools without being discriminated against. You are also agreeing to the fact that people do not have to listen to the conversing of our beliefs. Teachers of the state of Georgia are forbidden to talk about religious beliefs unless the conversation is brought up by a student. In the laws of the public schools of Georgia, it states that teachers are allowed to talk about religion but not teach religion. They are only allowed to talk about religion if it has something to do with the standards of learning. We are working together so that teachers don't have to be worried about getting fired for saying something about religion. By signing this you are also backing up the Constitution of the United States of America, made by our founding fathers to ensure the safety and well-being of our citizens. In the first amendment it states that we have the freedom of religion and not from religion, speech, and the press. Going against these rights is unconstitutional. Having freedom of religion means that all religious groups in the US have the right to speak their beliefs. Our mission is to be successful in an issue that could rip kids' and adults' minds from what they have believed in since birth. The kids and teachers of the 21st century shouldn’t be influenced to give up their faith just because we don’t want them to. They are entitled ,along with the rest of the US citizens, entitled to their opinion and there for should be allowed to follow the rules of our founding fathers and show faith in what they do or do not believe in!
