A teacher in a school in North Carolina shouted down a student because he dared to criticise Barack Obama, in breach of the First Amendment. She also told him that he could be jailed for his criticism. This is nonsense; everyone has right to free speech. It is a fundamental human right and it is a cornerstone of democracy! This teacher, who should know better, should be, at the very least, reprimanded and an apology to be forthcoming.
