Petition to Reconsider Cuts To Educational Assistants across Toronto District School Board To deal with a deficit, trustees of the Toronto District School Board have voted to cut a number of front line workers from a number of our schools including secretaries and educational assistants in halftime English Kindergarten classrooms. We the undersigned demand that the TDSB trustees reopen budget debate as these cuts compromise the needs of school communities as well as the learning environment and safety of many of our youngest and most vulnerable students.
