I remember a certain SGA senior class president that was going to let us decide were prom was going to be. We got shaffted. I know Mrs Macorkal was trying to do her best but I'm sorry it wasent good enough. On the way back we were listening to XL106.7, That sounded like a party. Prom was forgetable. It felt like an airport hanger. We could have had a better time at a double tree hotel or motel 6. I think that we should have a massive (non-SGA) student sponserd "prom" after Graduation.Flag

If it honestly cost so much money to rent the hotel this year that we couldn't even have decorations it should have never been done at Gaylord Palms, you should have just gotten a smaller hotel. No ones Senior Prom should ever be as bad as ours was. And i think if anything we deserve at least another dance or something to make up for how horrible the dance was.Flag

Were talkin Gaylord Palms this thing was supposed to be an extravaganza and turned out to be garbage. I think there was to much money and time put into this for it to come out this way and we as students deserve some kind of refund of some sort.Flag

They put some curtain over the poles and that was the decorations. Everything looked cheap and i was so upset that i could not enjoy myself.Nothing was really organize and i spent too much money on this wack prom...i want my Money back.!!!!Flag

For the simple fact that it was in a warehouse with garage doors for the trucks to pull into. To put it simply. Small portions of food, concrete warehouse, and a DJ who's music was actually skipping throughout the night. The dance floor was duct-taped to the floor. The decorations consisted of glitter on tables with giant plastic martini glasses full of gel... Woo hoo... My highlight of the prom itself was a big cookie. Thank you class of '08Flag

Schwarz on Mar 27, 2007Comments: so prom deffinatly suck this year. homecoming was way better. the decorations ummm... what decorations. it looks like they took the sheets off the crappy beds and put it around the pillars. they went to cheapo depot bought the cheapest fake wood floor and duck taped it to the floor. they atleast could have used camo duck tape to help it blend in. um one look at the food was enough to make me throwup. the place looked like the basement of the gay!!! lord palms. or a aircraft hanger for the rich people that stay there. so u know how girls take off there shoes and dance.. yea their feet were black. so basicly i spent alot of my hard earned money too stand around and listen to people complain about every aspect of prom. the best part of prom was when it was time to go.. as i heard from some of my friends ms mcCorkal told them " buying a prom ticket is a risk you have to take" what is that supposed to mean.Flag

Im thankful that I have memories from the previous proms. I know i didnt pay 150 dollars to stand on concrete and be in a storage room . There were no decorations, and the music was horrible. Why did we pay so much money to be in a storage room If i would have know that ,i wouldnt have attended. It's obvious that they didnt use our money on prom, so where did it go Now i have to live with the horrible memories of my senior prom and how much money i wasted on a peice of S***!!!! I spent over $300 to stand in a storage room!!! Maybe if the music was good that wouldnt have mattered, but you couldnt even understand the dj....who SUCKED!!!! I think we should get our money back or have another prom for FREE!!!!!!Flag
