Comments: please avoid the closing of studio 8 the Salford move will be seen in the coming years as a complete mistake as I gather certain aspects even now are viewed as management ineptitude

Comments: I believe that all the studios should be kept open. To close 5 studios indicates a future bereft of homemade programs and with that concerns for the future training needs of our industry.

Comments: In a few years time some genius will have the idea that more television studios are needed in London, particularly ones suitable for audience shows, with good transport links. Save TC8 now!

Comments: TC8 is the best studio at Television Centre. Probably the best studio in the British Isles. For TC8 never to reopen would not do much for the credibility of the BBC studios and post production.

Comments: functioning studios in central London are essential. It is a criminal waste of resources and short-term thinking to demolish TVC studios.

Comments: TC8 was always rated as the best medium sized studio in Television Centre. The facilities were the best of their sort when it was built, being the last of the eight studios to be constructed and equipped. The ventilation system is in the ceiling rather than the walls in other studios. The proximity to 'Stage Door' and the audience reception area make it ideal for audience shows. What a great loss of a first class studio if it is not retained.
